This Privacy Policy explains how TileGenius, developed by Codeus, Inc., collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the TileGenius mobile application.
Information We Collect
- Account information: Email address and username, collected via Clerk authentication.
- Game data: Scores, game history, and leaderboard entries.
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version, used for diagnostics and compatibility.
Authentication
Account creation and sign-in are handled by Clerk (clerk.com). Clerk may collect additional information as described in their own privacy policy. We do not store your password.
In-App Purchases
Subscription and purchase management is handled by RevenueCat (revenuecat.com). Payment processing is performed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store payment card information.
Advertising
TileGenius may display ads served by AppLovin MAX. AppLovin may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. For more information, see AppLovin's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the TileGenius game experience.
- To maintain leaderboards and social features.
- To diagnose technical issues and ensure app stability.
- To process subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above (Clerk, RevenueCat, AppLovin) solely to operate the app, and only to the extent necessary.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).
Children's Privacy
TileGenius is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
